This past January I embarked on finding a vehicle for my girlfriend and found myself in unfamiliar territory as I had never purchased a used vehicle before. We liked Volkswagens as they had a good reputation for being a well built vehicle. In an attempt to help us with our search, my girlfriend's brother pointed us to Foster Auto Group. For most people the term 'used car dealership' has mixed connotations and comes with many preconceived notions.
      However, I can honestly say that Ann Foster, from Foster Auto Group, made the whole experience of buying a used car, a positive one. Ann followed through on anything she promised, and even went as far as providing me with touch-up paint for the car. I would highly recommend them for anyone looking for a used vehicle as they provide honest and fairly priced service.

        I am writing this letter because we always write to complain, never to praise.  I always think to give credit where credit is due! 
        It started with my "googling"  a Volkswagen Beetle Diesel, where I found Foster Auto.  I was very impressed with the website.  All the information you want is there.  The picture of the car is true and clear.  You are always afraid that it will turn out like the real-estate deal where they can take a dump and make it look like a rose! 
        Lived most of my life in Kingston, Ontario.  I have been in Toronto 6 years now.  Long enough to know you do not buy a previously owned car in Toronto. Too many crooks.  With my experience of living in a small community I have learned you don't stay in business for over 25 years by mistreating people.
         It is truly a family business, probably the best in the area!!! What I saw on the computer for pics and information was what I saw at the dealership, no B.S., everything is on the table.  You cannot get friendlier, more down to earth people to deal with.  Mike even met us at the Go train so we did not have two cars to go home with. 
      I asked Ann about the Beetle not having a vase.  She told me "No problem, there will be one."  Not only was a vase in the Beetle on pick-up day but she went out of her way to get a daisy for it!! Now, my friends, that is what I call service plus!!  I recommend very, very highly, Foster Auto to anyone who is looking for a car.  In my books they are the best!!
    So a big thank you Mike and Ann for the amazing experience!
